Aisha Ikram-Townsend as Queen of Mars, crown designed by Sean Davis, makeup and accessories fabricated by Douglas Deiter, costume from a thrift store. She said the crown was uncomfortable from the wire frame tightly wound around her head to hold the wig in place.
Archie, the director’s first time using a green screen outside of the public access station’s studio. These shots were done in the parking lot of a SE Portland business. The passing scenery composited later was recorded driving around the neighborhood.
The shots were storyboarded by the director, by far the least talented member of the team when it came to drawing, but he needed changes quick and dirty, and ideas came to him suddenly. Some shots were cut but most stayed.
